Good representation always matters.
But in the midst of the current Progressive administration's
efforts to forever change the landscape of our country, we must
ferverently seek out and agressively support candidates for public
office in the 2010 elections whose moral character is consistent
with our own: the 9 Principles and 12 Values of The 912 Project.
Our efforts will not only secure the preservation
of our own way of life, but will also advance the moral salvation
of future generations of Americans.
Our standard for elected officials in this country
is high ... and it should be.
Nothing less than total dedication is acceptable.
It’s time we remind those seeking to serve
this country through public office, as well as those currently in
office, what we expect of them if they expect our support.
You may be asking yourself, "Why does it seem
that we can’t find moral, constitutional abiding individuals any
more to serve our country?"
The answer is we can ... and we will.
How we got here is unimportant. What is important
is that we now know what we must begin to do:
We must begin working together
to take back our country.
And we know that we must no longer take our rights
under the Constitution for granted. We know we must become actively
involved and remain ever vigilant if we are to prevent the erosion
of our liberties.
We know that we must re-dedicate ourselves to Lincoln's
affirmation, "...that this nation, under God, shall have a
new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the
people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
We now also know what we must not do. We must not
turn a blind eye to the placing of parties before principles nor
to the placing of agendas above values. We know that we must no
longer tolerate the erosion of our constitutional liberties thought
unconstitutional policies and laws.
